Why shouldnt it ? When IW5M is nearly final, NTA could add an offline function

till then Call of Duty 5000 will be out and nobody is caring about MW3 anymore..

True. You would need an emulator like IWNetServer, but since that is illegal the authentication would have to be removed.

Then it would run like MW 1 again. Cuz we have the dedis. No more matchmaking needed.

What about making an offline loader that starts IW5M without Login that browses only LAN servers, not online servers?

 

BTW don't think that there is no need for offline/LAN, it's really fun. You play with your friends and relatives confidently. The nicest thing is that the ping is very low (since in online my ping is very high and I don't enjoy playing at all due to my terrible internet connection).

And on top of all, the awesome bot mod can be played totally offline (wishing you finish it soon).

OK Thank you for going with my suggestion but what I actually meant is that it would be very interesting to play with the bots offline, since this topic is about bots.

Still not possible, do you see IW4M like that? Nope. You need active internet connection. Plus would be only possible through a script so you need a dedi.

Where you could create a local server so easially. See Counter-Strike, Half-Life, L4D2, CS:GO, GTA 4, Max Payne 3..

Oh.. new games among them. Seems like there are still developers that care about stuff today. Fact is.

Yes, I know, but unfortunately, Activision, Infinity Ward, and Treyarch ruined their games by removing the LAN feature. Aslo, remember COD4 and COD:WAW?

But still, I think it is possible. I hope they make it.
