I've installed IW4M.exe and 4D1 correctly, but when I try to launch iw4m.exe it just crashes. No console window, no window at all, it just crashes. I've asked the IRC and no one was able to give me a definite answer. Can you guys help?

Does it give an error message? If it does, post here the content of that error message.

If it doesn't, then your anti-virus is preventing the game from launching. Get rid of that anti-virus if that is the case.

Some times disabling is not enough (I tell it from my own experience).

By the way, what anti-virus are you using?

No, the client that 4D1 provided on the forums somewhere. It was a stickied post, I'm sure.

 

I have .net framework 4, the install ran fine. It's just that when I open the client it immediately crashes with no error message, no window, just crashes with the "iw4m.exe has stopped working" window.
