Hi.

I got everything up and ready. I got the server on one computer

and I'm trying to play on it from another.

 

I see my own server on the servers list, on the second (client) computer,

but when I try to connect to the server (as I would normally do with any other server)

I tryies 23/25 times and nothing happens, until it gives up.

 

I'm boggled, I don't know what else to try.

 

Please, help me! this is a callout to the iw4m mod makers, what do I do??

I'll do ANYTHING to get this thing going.

 

Please!

You must use the internal IP on the local network.

On that second computer, open the console and type this command:

connect 192.168.x.x:xxxxx

(whatever your server's internal IP and port are)

Try connecting to your server using your Internal IP address also can other people connect to your server?

thanks for your answers. I'm not sure if other people can connect to my server. I can connect with my internal IP adress, thing is I want to try if anyone else, from the rest of the internet can connect to my server. any help would be appreciated. thank you guys.
