whenever i use LaunchIW4M.exe to update , it starts up then at about 50 percent it switches to 164 percent then about 10 seconds later this error pops up

i dunno wtf is wrong but if someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated :DD

( and prior to my other problem with the weird gun and shit i fixed it by deleting the weapons folder in raw i dunno how it fixed it tho but whatever )

Then disable your router's firewall (assuming that the anti-virus firewall is really disabled)

alright so i disable the firewall , and it did the same thing , but after it went to 164% it restarted at 109% then went back up to 164% , then after like 5 seconds it skips to 272% and gives me the error again . ._.

Just open a new thread... you also need the .ff's.

And now you got until next update to fix your connection issues (unninstall that anti-virus if you have to)

k so i did that , i ran launchiw4m.exe , it came up for about 2 seconds , then a cmd window popped up and mw2 started . anything wrong here or is it finally fixed :DD

It's not fixed. That was just a workaround for you to be able to play now. The fix is for you to unblock your traffic before the next update gets released.

I uploaded those archives for people who can't even start the updater because the traffic is really blocked at some countries. You can delete the .bat file, since you can communicate with the update server.
