I think we should add some type of logo (just like alteriw.net's blue lock) on the side to let people if a topic is locked. It's somewhat annoying to click a topic you think needs locking, only to discover it's already been locked. ._.

Maybe the circled cross of the logo on the same forum plain color (aka #EAA102 ) could work better? It's just a matter of masking, coloring and resizing.

Please note sentence color as in "unread posts" would become useless if we adopt this system. Icons are made in true size, if NTA or Pigo wants them, just ask for them and I'll send them separately.

 

The dot line of the locked topics should be red as the icon.

Are the topic colours meant to change with the colour of the icon? eg. What colour will the topic be when it has unread stuff and is locked?

When a locked topic has stuff unread, could be the title coloured the same way the locked logo? Haven't thought about that just yet, maybe a logo fill or something could work.

 

As for the sticky differenciation, I think that an intense glow would do!

Ok, I just got here and felt like giving my vote to ltorrelles idea.

Besides the fact that it identifies locked threads right away, the unread status is also on the icon, rather than orange letters all over.

Think those icons a bit big though; Not too sure about the red either.

How about a little lock icon over that circled cross (that way you can even make icons for read/unread locked topics + stickied shit).
