I have checked battlefieldemulator.com aka Emulator Nexus webpage and I saw that they've posted a message saying the following:

 

It seems that it has been quite a while since our services were available to you, so today we are happy to announce that either later today or tomorrow our Battlefield services will resume to their normal operation.

 

But that's not all!

 

We've got a huge update incoming for Bad Company 2 which will make gameplay more smooth and stable, will allow us to easily develop a LAN mode and will get rid of the 'emulator' part. Yes, you read correctly, no more 'emulation'. The new client allows you to use your BC2 installation without having to connect to an emulated server, while only connecting to our own server, which we coded from scrach to match our needs, to perform tasks such as matchmaking, stat saving/loading and authentication, and the best part, it's cross-game compatible! (More info on that later on). The new client will also include our primitive anti-cheat system and several other features that will be announced before its release.

 

But hey! There's even more!

 

For starters, we're completely re-designing our entire network from a both stylistic and operational perspective. Those changes will start becoming visible a few days after our services are stable again.

 

We are also under an internal restructuring process, mainly concerning our policies and future plans.

 

Finally, I am happy to announce that I've been actively working on LAN mode and Origin-free gameplay for Battlefield 3, which progresses really smoothly and that in the future we might as well support Medal of Honor: Warfighter!
