Hi,

 

let say i set the rcon password to "123456" in the cfg file, like this:

 

seta rcon_password "123456"

 

when i enter the server, i press the console key SHIFT + "~" ( to get the full window )

then, i wrote the following command console:

 

rcon login 123456

 

the server side replys with:

 

"to use rcon command you have to login with rcon login -password- "

 

And nothing happens, well, i mean, i try:

 

rcon kickban executor2k

rcon status

 

But nothing happens.

To be more precise, the rcon console got replaced by a client console in Iw5M (it's not used to set client variables instead of server rcon commands)

sorry i dont get it..i have the same problem but in steam i can control my server from Rcon, at least to kick/ban , map rotate and general server stuff...we will be able to control this in Delta? i much rather playing here that in Steam..even without Rcon..Thank u DELTA!!!!!!

Well you can control it through your actual server console but RCON won't work for some reason in the client console it was replaced with...

Use CoD-RconTool, works too.

I don't know what to tell you.

I just put the IP, the port (net_masterServerPort) and the rcon password set in the server configuration.

After I connect I can use most options, yet it's a bit buggy with IW5M but messaging server and playerlist works out of the box. On some occasions kick and ban have crashed Rcon Tool though. It's not an optimal solution since IW5 is not supported but the basics work.

I got it working now! Thanks a lot my friend, the problem was i was putting the wrong port...master game port, instead of master server port .. my mistake...unfortunately, still no use 4 me as i need ingame rcon control, as is a real hassle to minimize game to have to change something..but anyway..compare to playing in steam..this is heaven! thanks a lot!

yep, installing windows on laptop...., there arent any problems...there are solutions.....

Though making the ingame rcon work without having to install al the b3 stuff would be so nice...

Likewise, I also despise b3 for not being user-friendly (despite those who will tell me otherwise, I despise that too ).

I just hope it gets to the todo list soon, if it isn't yet.

I think there's not much besides the fact that you don't need to install MySQL.

No webserver, no MySQL, no PHP, no PhpMyAdmin, no Python, and no MySql-Python are needed.

Just install b3, automatically create a xml on b3 first startup and you're done (it won't support webfronts either, but it will be enough for rcon)

also, It was a bit hard for me to set up b3, I asked for some help on IRC and its working great now, its not that hard how it seems

Sure... nothing seems hard after you learned how to do it.

I said it is "not user-friendly", which is not the same as saying it hard or easy to setup.

Yes it works but you don't have ingame rcon.

The good point with that android version, is that Ic an type my commands from my phone without having to leave the game
