game is resetting my router. on other comp. its normal. i've preinstalled OS, get newest drivers and got 2 versions of Modern Warfare 3 on it. both same effect

Have you disabled your router's firewall?

Then maybe your router needs to be sent for servicing. All my problems were gone after I replaced my router with a TP-Link one. If your router is restarting, either it's some really old model, or something's not right with it.

it is only restarting during searching FD1 servers. Tekno and steam ones were ok.

Had this issue with my D-Link router. Its the firmware that is causing the issue.

Upgrading to the custom firmware (dd-wrt) fixed it for me.
