hi, ive been looking for a mod that can restore the model 1887 range when used akimbo'd, but i can't find one, if someone can link me up with one that would be great, however, in the old alteriw fourm i did find a unpatched mod for it, but it was uploaded as an attachment, therefor its gone with the site, i did find the virustotal scan though

it's already restored.

iw4m runs on an old exe so lots of stuff is not patched (elevators, models, care package run, etc)

alright, but where could i locate the change in model 1887's range under the .gsc files, so i can compare a newer gsc to the old

They're already unpatched. For even more damage and sexy range, ADD FMJ. Seriously, this is like the only weapon where you can SEE fmj acutally does something to the weapon

Weapon damage, range, etc, isn't stored in any .GSC file.

I have too much honor to use them online...but I will gladly run them in my offline mod hehe

They're already unpatched. For even more damage and sexy range, ADD FMJ. Seriously, this is like the only weapon where you can SEE fmj acutally does something to the weapon

That depends if those file types are even downloadable at the moment, otherwise it's pointless modifying them :L

You need to modify the source of iw4m to get those files loaded in-game though(like winchester and m40a3 in raw/weapons)

It's possible to just modify m40a3 / winchester1200 in raw, and do "g_gametype m40a3 ; devmap oilrig".

I was saying that the code for w1200 and m40 was implemented, not for other guns, to do this you will need to edit iw4m source
