You are right that the initial compromise from aRev wasn't met, we didn't shutdown.

 

I seriously would hope that you didn't take aRev as competition but instead more as an alternative that players could (or not) opt.

 

1) Why should we have to take a compromise from you? Technically, most of your work is based of NTA's code.

 

2) As an alternative, surely wouldn't it be different from ours, not just the same with a few server and client changes (which by the way, NSClient should have been public (at least NTA says so viewtopic.php?f=7&t=17242&p=137126 (at least, I think that is what it means))). If it was to be valued as competition, I would see it with completely different source code taking the same aspect (improving the MW2 game).

 

 

Anyways, I'm not the one to cause conflict, just to comment on it. I wish the aRev staff would actually take our concerns seriously and not just flick them away (apart from in the rare cases, like in.alterrev.net was actually changed, and source code, now that you have a competent developer (Almamu)). I don't view you as enemies or competetion, but simply majorly immature people (apart from certain competent people), who are trying to copy the infrastructure of 4D1, and hiding it with a couple of changes. Good day.

You seem to be missing the point. I'm not trying to defend aRev since there's nothing nor anyone to defend it from. I'm just stating that this "aggression" between both parties is unproductive to any of the concerned. No matter how lame, unoriginal or whatever insults you come up with.

I'm just going to lock this. I advise you to ''update'' your anti-cheat.
