Well, now that I finally have a clear view on what the requirements are to fix my state issues, and how they are well out of viable reach, I just want to say it has been a fun ride on these projects, and I would like to give a final goodbye before the imminent degrading sees me wind up in another psychiatric facility... permanently.

Bas, whatever you feel is right for you, do it. You've expended enough of your time and energy working to please the whims of a playerbase that has been populated by a substantial number of greedy, self-serving, and selfish players who did not deserve your dedication to this project. If you feel like stepping down and moving on is what you need to do, then do it. Ignore everyone on here crying for you to stay. For all that you've given us, caring for your personal well-being should mean more to us than the continuation of 4D1 itself. It's been a great ride, and I'm sorry I couldn't always be around for it, since my life called me to more important things elsewhere (it seems you can relate on a profound level). My sincerest hope is that you do what is best and right for yourself. As I said, you've more than earned the right to make that choice. Best regards, friend.
