GTA IV is lighter than BF3, especially on lower settings.

Really? Well BF3 with high settings runs better than GTA IV on my pc.

    GTA is badly optimized

    Also, if I had Win 7 and an extra gig of ram, I could run BF3 too.

    You could also try DayZ(trough tunngle, if you dont want to buy it)

    Yes, really. Try playing GTA on min details and BF3 on min details. Tell me what runs faster. Or should I test it once more on all of my PCs.

    its because GTA 4 is really cpu heavy cause they wernt thinking when they made it.....bf3 i believe does not require as much cpu speeds, but requires a better gpu

    you still need a good CPU to get any proper framerate on high-player-count servers; around the same requirement as IV.
