I Have Download MW3 Using a torrent .. and when I am installing it shows ,

What Should I Do , Is This a common error? I am On windows 8 Pro x64 But I am Running it on compatibility mode IW4M Works Nicely ..

Hm, afaik, this is already posted in the common errors thread, isn't it ? Either way, make a new folder called whatever you like in your zone folder, now copy and paste everything from the zone/english folder to your newly created folder and update the game again. When you do it, just place everything back in. AFAIK it should work..

now, don't install this stuff in any directory with restrictive ACLs applied - this includes Program Files.

Deleting "code_post_gfx.ff.deco" (from \zone\english\ folder) before starting the updater next time should fix it.

You can delete whatever .deco file that you might have on \zone\english\ folder. That folder should only contain .ff files.

Also try restarting your computer before you try that, just in case.

 

p.s.: that folder on the bottom left of your desktop might get you into troubles, if it is what I think it is...
