Hi guys. I recently started playing mw2 on the pc.(I used to play it alot on the xbox) and I noticed something different about my accuracy.

Now, I have a few questions about sniping on the pc I hope you can answer.

1. Is dragscoping different/ Does dragscoping work?

2. Whats different about quickscoping on the pc vs quickscoping on the console?

3. (For snipers) What key do you use to swap weapons/run(hold breath)?

4. Any real good tips that could help a console sniper get his accuracy back on the pc? (tutorial vids if you have any good ones)

Any additional info about PC sniping would be great too.

Thanks in advance.

1) I don't think so

2) You'll need to be accurate yourself, and not counting on aim-assist (from consoles)

3) I don't remember/understand, check your settings'll be enough, no ? :/

4) Well, basic one : Training. But it isn't HARD as it looks, well, maybe a little bit more for someone that used to play on consoles. Do some private games with your homies.

3. Personally i use MOUSE4 (4th mouse button) for weapon switching and click to aim in, instead of hold to aim.

But it's just about personal preference obviously.

Hint: as you probably know, aiming while stunned is pretty hard as you are heavily slowed down.

On PC you can use toggle binds like this, which helps sometimes in such situations:

bind MOUSE5 "toggle sensitivity 5 2"

This allows you to quickly turn up your sensitivity when you're stunned and reset it back again afterwards.

Won't it give you any unfair advantage? Since stuns are there for a reason...

Never heard of any forbidden binds for config_m2.cfg here...

In case it's not allowed, i'll edit my post.

Other than that: it isn't that much of an advantage, since it's still quite hard to aim when stunned. You just don't have to push your mouse that far. Isn't cg_fov 90 an even bigger advantage?

This is just a less known bind/command, i'd say...

nah, more difficult to spot enemies at longer distance distance

TBH, there is nothing we need to suggest you. When I started playing, I was really crap, didn't know how to snipe or anything of that sort, I used to use the Toggle Aim, but now I use hold...again thats just my personal preference, and on my sensitivity I don't think I ever asked anyone...I just kept on playing around with it until I thought I'm good and perfect with it, and basically I've played a lot :) I've been sniping from the start of aIW :) so yeh...the only thing u wanna do is Play alot, play iSnipe game modes (not the crappy ones where they remove sway and keep the aim restriction to 0.1 seconds, but most of them have an aim restriction to 0.30 so its alright..) or if you don't like iSnipe (due to the amount of faggots playing it) you could always just keep training in a normal mode by using a RSE Bots mod.

Dragscoping works alright, only that the hitdetection is better on consoles because they are noob friendly.

I guess you probably know that there is no aim-assist on PC so you actually need to aim on target.
