Let me put it this way, to actually try the game you must activate the original key, once activated it's forever on your Steam account. Now, I doubt there's many people that have a Steam account only with BO2 which they are willing to give away.

And even if there are some, why the hell would they give it to you. I'd preferr to give it to a friend or someone I know and care about even a little bit.
