Hey guys,

when i open LaunchIW5M.exe to install 4d1,it stops working...

i read dozen articles but no one helped...

i've installed .Net Framework 1.1, 3.5 sp1, 4.5 , 4.5 extended and i'm running windows 7 32-bit.

please help me to solve this problem and join mw3

Yes,I did

First, make sure that you have both LaunchIW5M.exe and DBNetwork.Indigo.dll on your game's folder.

Then, try disabling your anti-virus (doesn't use to happen, but we never know...)

If none work, try to find a way to fix .net Framework 3.5 on windows 7... (I just use to reinstall windows, if .net Framework 3.5 has problems on windows 7)

still not working ,

i've installed my windows just a week ago, it can't be framework 3.5 problem...

I CAN open launchiw5m.exe on my desktop,and it starts downloading files,but i can't open it in the game's folder...

it seems some file in game folder causes this STOPPED WORKING error...

It happens even to me, but only when i try to open iw5m with steam opened too.

I copied all folders and files, but to launch game i have to open launchiw5m.exe and it still stops working

You could copy iw5m.dat and change the extension to .exe, but its highly inadvisable since you won't be able to update your client..

Only one AV detected it as a trojan, so its highly it was a 'false positive'

i found a solution to that

 

If you launch the loader on your desktop and then copy the caches.xml to your game directory and then convert the iw5m.dat into an exe and launch it from there it should work, at least it worked for me
