PC - you can do anything you can imagine

Console - you can enjoy your over-priced mediocre game with a controller

why not also a poll?

 

- PC cuz of mods and stuff

pc because you can use it for watching blurays, using internet, facebook, etc. as well as gaming, and listening to music, or watching tv with a tuner card, it's really the ultimate center of entertainment (which is why pcs cost more)

PC - Barely any good non-mainstream games, better graphics, alot of mods, controller compatibility for some games, etcetcetc

Consoles - exclusives on every fucking console you can see, alot of good non-mainstream games, worse graphics, little to no mods, some console have games that require you to use your actualy body, (Dance Central, Dragonball Z for Kinect, Just Dance 4, etcetcetc) etcetcetc

 

I choose consoles for non-mainstream games

PC for Far Cry 3, Crysis 3, Call of Duty, etcetcetc, you get the idea

Console versions of games usually have some drawbacks. A very good example is Fallout NV. It was really bad on PS3, with a extreme amount of bugs. The 360 version was slightly better and the PC version was far superior. And that is not including that the PC version also includes mods. I also dont like when games run on 30 fps or lower..

 

Games for PC is also usually a bit cheaper then the console versions, atleast here in Sweden.

What are the reasons to even consider switching to console? Lack of money? Then get a job and buy/build a sick gaming pc.

Consoles are PCs with worse Hardware and a very bad OS.

What a retarded question. Any sane and intelligent person will say the same as I do: PC. Obviously.

PC cause of the moding comunity . Although most games these days are console ports...

PC

-Sales, all the time. also, you can easily meet the pirates at the bay

-Better Controls (personal preference, really)

-the given, graphics enhancements

-Can be easily upgraded to enhance graphics or performance

-Mods on a lot of games

-Can be used as an everything-machine

 

 

Console

-Can only play games, watch movies/TV shows

-become outdated fast

-depending on the console, you have to pay fees to play online

-"Online Passes" are a thing.

-You'll probably end up paying full price for nearly all the games you buy.

never said I was going to fully switch, just considering getting into console gaming

Then go and play console. Im not only playing fps, I like mmos, also I didn't have the time to play 24/7 so most of the time I'm really happy to come home and play a few rounds, pwning some noobs in css and farming with my mates in wow or gw...
