hi someone found our xuid server admin and change his xuid to our xuid so

he's admin now..

how did he do that?

how we can fix it?

This is a problem with many server owners. All we can say is use B3's login plugin.

soooo if we use b3 in our server they cannot hack it with suid and....?

I had the same issue yesterday and thanks to the tech support of this forum it is fixed now.

 

 

Now keep in mind that when you set the admin passwords on the database, it has to be saved as MD5 (on "function" type)

Then in chat

 

/!login [pass]

 

 

Make sure you use / before !login or someone will find out.

 

You will need access to your B3 database and you will have to add password to your admins.

Also inform your admins to use /!login password

DO NOT type !login pass as the password will be visible to everyone.

Note they are able to change GUID, but they are unable to attain B3 Admin rights because they need to authenticate before using any admin commands..

There's something called a 'login' plugin in B3, enable it configure it and those hackers won't be able to get a users admin rights..

If you can't use a simple plugin just shut your server down.

Good, continue that. Stuff like this is the biggest pain in the ass for server owners to deal with.
