I'm trying to setup a server for Infected gamemode, but I have a small issue.

Currently, the infected players have ammo in their weapon, how can I make them spawn with 0 ammo and only a tactical knife?

When you are creating your recipe in "Private Match", make sure you don't select any weapon, and automatically when a user gets Infected they will get a handgun (no ammo) with tactical knife.

 

But be sure to add at least something, just don't add a gun. If you don't touch the class, they spawn with an FMG9 Red Dot Sight!

I didnt touch the class but still the infected player spawn with Automatic Riffle.

Well i had a look at your .dsr ingame, and you haven't added anything its just blank.

The problem seems to be resolved when you add Perks and Death Streaks to "First Infected" and "Infected" Classes, also add some perks/death streaks to the "Survivors" too..

Make Different .dsr files (in each .dsr specify a different weapon for "Survivors") then in your default.dspl set different .dsr's to different maps..

eg-

mp_alpha,dsr1,500

mp_dome,dsr2,600

mp_exchange,dsr3,500

mp_hardhat,dsr4,600

I didnt mean that. In every map, I want the weapon to keep randomly changing.

Example, for the 1st 30 sec I have M4, the next 30sec MP7, etc....

I'm also running Free 4 All in the same server, so do you know any plugin for infected that will not interfere with F4A?

As i told earlier in this topic, the problem might be because you haven't selected any perk's for the Infected/Survivors. Also make sure you don't select any weapon for the Infected classes,

but is that possible the infected start game with a magazine for handgun ?

Well if you select a handgun it automatically comes with ammo and if you don't put any perks some random gun appears. So just don't select any weapon for the Infected class and also configure the perks..
