Not for me. Maybe they had a court order in YOUR country, so they have an IP ban for people there,or an ISP ban. Screenshot please.

Ok this is an account I just created since I got banned for warez or whatever so here is one :

Well it quite depends on the ISP you have, I have a ISP which didn't block TPB.

Try using Google's DNS servers instead of your ISP's.

I got the solution guys!

Indian govt. f*ed everything up! They told all the ISPs to ban these famous torret sites.

But the good new is that 'Anonymous' started operation India and shut down various govt. sites and have warned 'em that if we don't get our sites back, they'll have no choice but to shut them down permanently!

Anonymous will surely own indian gov.

Over here (in Poland) both thepiratebay.se and torrentz.eu work ;P Actually none of the sites are blocked by the government, because gov doesn't pay much attention to the internet now - back in january they had a little idea of introducing ACTA [some international law that would control the internet] but it all got stopped because of protests (search for "ACTA" or "ACTA Poland" on YT to see some vids).

 

As for bypassing the ISP filters, try using TOR.

Anonymous does nothing but DDOS, it isn't going to change anything, don't you think if sites like 4D1 can block a DDOS attack a govt. site can't.

Anonymous did some good stuff (PSN) but thats it, they support shitty causes, e.g: The Peace Loving Molotov Toting Protestors of Bahrain ( a friend of mine who joined the Police force just got burned by the peaceful protestors, he's safe but he suffered 2nd degree burns), so FUCK THEM. They are worthless. Incase you're getting sites being blocked use https:// instead of http:// or just use the millions of proxies that are out there, the Govt. cannot block everything and a million proxies come out everyday.

Dutch anti-piracy foundation BREIN initiated the legal proceedings against the providers after informal talks on a blockade of TPB were not met with the ISPs sympathy. As a result of today's court order, UPC, KPN, Tele2, T-Mobile and Telfort have to accomplish a blockade before 20 May 2012."

Yup! the sites have been blocked only by the famous ISPs like airtel , BSNL etc. etc.
