Hello 4D1,

 

I had previously had aRev and decided to install 4D1 over it (big mistake). My game was screwed after that, so I redownloaded MW2 with 4D1 from a torrent on tpb. After following the instructions in the downloaded readme, I get up to the step where I launch LaunchIW4M.exe. A dialog asks me for my 4d1 forum login, and I do so and click OK. However, after this point nothing happens at all. I've browsed and searched the forums for similar situations and tried the solutions, but to no avail. For example, I tried to profile my iw4mp.dat and exe but the Profiling option was greyed out, and then apparently making an iw4m.ini with my login was supposed to work (which didn't, all I got was a flash of a cmd screen and nothing after that). Perhaps it's also worth mentioning that after logging in, iw4m.exe shows up in 'Processes', then disppears.

Which torrent did you use?

 

Also do you have your alterRev/4D1 folder on your HDD?

I used this one: /torrent/7368249/Modern_Warfare_2_Multiplayer_Full_[FourDeltaOne]

What do you mean by aRev/4D1 folder?

You said you hadoverrode your arev folder with 4d1, do you still have it?

No I don't have it because I reinstalled and deleted the rest...

Okay so you're running LaunchIW4M.exe right?

(Make sure to delete caches.xml and re-run, also check if you have DB.Network.Indigo.dll)

I tried it... still not working
