So i bought my friends old Mossberg 500a for 100$ from him and it's a great gun,but i decided to make it a little bit more modern. It was actually a bit more work than i thought, but in the end it came out pretty good.

1-2. I bought a much shorter barrel for it. I swapped from a 24 inch to an 18.

2-3. My gf got me a new fore end grip for Christmas. This is why it was more work than i thought because it turns out some Mossbergs have a shorter slide action tube (which mine does), so in order for the new fore grip to work i had to buy an adapter nut and dremmel a bit of the grip out.

3-4. My gf bought me a pistol grip collapsible stock as well. This too gave me problems because i cross threaded it putting it on at first *Shoot myself* but i fixed it. Thank god!!!

Anyway just wanted to share my little project iv been working on and have finally finished. Oh and i apologize for the picture quality, my cell phone is not the best. Also the top picture is just too show how it looked originally, that is not mine.

How so? The gun is much more comfortable and easier to shoot. I still have my 24 inch barrel for skeet shooting and hunting and it takes maybe 1-2 minutes to swap out.

I don't see the reason for all the hate. I worked hard to get it together.

No they are not , there are like 2 or 3 times the deaths from kicking and punching than from guns.

In Switzerland every citizen without a criminal record (which are a lot of people, Switzerland has a very low crime rate) is free to have a gun. And a lot of swiss people have guns. Do we hear about crazy idiots going on shooting sprees in Siwtzerland? We dont.

i know some people can have guns around without every fight escalating, but apparently Americans can't. I mean, every time I hear about a shooting it's in the US, so either guns increase the chances or Americans are completely retarded.

I know, but nowadays your criminal record and all that jazz is checked so these idiots I was talking about don't get a license most of the time.

Well thank you to everyone who actually commented on my shotgun. As for this talk about gun control and whatnot... I think if you don't have a criminal background (Like me) then you should be able to own a gun, but taking away that right will do NOTHING to stop criminals and idiots from attaining illegal guns. As for registering guns, i hope they don't try to do this. It will end with 1 month of "Oh yeah we just need yal to register your guns to be safe" and then the month after that "Oh sorry but now we KNOW you have that gun and we are gonna come take it."

... Why would that happen? Registration is just so it's easier to identify shooters (or at least the gun that's been fired).
