I have only 35 driving hours left in a driving school before I get my licence. Passed the theoretical and first-aid exams already. Should be done in 3-4 weeks.

What's the minimum amount of hours that you need to be allowed to take the final driving test in Croatia?

 

I think i only had about 30 driving hours before the actual test...

here the driving school(drivers ed) is optional, but lowers insurance. all you have to do is say you have had(i believe 60 hours)of driving, then take your test.

Actually, we have a total of 35 hours. I passed the first-aid 6 days ago, and I'm starting to drive tomorrow. What I meant to say, only thing I have left is the driving part of 35 hours. That's not really that much, can be done in a few weeks.

yep....i know how to drive manual, but when i was taking drivers ed...they didnt say anything about how manual works, how to do it, or anything.....was pretty much "driver safety"

Am I the only 15 year old that knows how to drive? Even though I have to take driving lessons in a few years, its not that fucking hard, yes, I have done it before.

Clutch, brake, accelerator, gears, steering wheel, indicators. I mean, its not that hard to do, just take note of what the person who is driving the car is doing and you could mimic it fairly easily.

Still takes hours to get some 'automatism' though. I wouldn't want to 'meet' someone on an autobahn going 160+ km/h, who has to actually think about how/when to shift down/up a gear etc., especially when it's dark and rainy or snowy...

 

(Driving when it's dark and rainy/snowy just needs so much more concentration in general, at least when the streets are filled up)

Well you have to wait 6 months once you get your Permit. Only if you're less than 18 yrs old
