Hi guys,

 

I'm having some strange issues lately.

Sometimes when I run IW5M after about 5-10sec (on the page where you see play, servers, options, etc..)the game freezes and doesn't respond.

Bad part is, I can't close it via the Task Manager.

If I try to stop the Iw5m.dat process, I get this message "The process could not be completed" "Access denied"

 

The worst part is, even a system restart doesn't help. I still see the iw5m.dat running even though I didn't run the game after the restart.

 

 

Everytime I get this error, I have to boot my system in Safe mode and then boot in normal mode. It kinda pisses me off.

Around 3 in 5 times I have this problem.

Note:- It was working fine 2weeks back.

 

OS: Win 8 Pro 64bit

Do a clean reinstall

it is DEP[data execution prevention] plss uninstall this os it will mock all ur apss with the same problem

Sorry but, I play in win 8 pro x64 smoothly without errors bro, except this connection error like "steam authorization failed", it happens on IW4M and IW5M too, this error isn't fixed yet until now...

Do a clean install of windows and the game itself otherwise it will infect all your drives and any program you run will have the same issue I also had this.Its a virus and someone is keylogging you
