OP: The popular series is a pest and cancer itself, Activision should pause it for 2 years and give the developers enough development time so they can actually improve it, instead of just copy pasting 70% of the last game and publishing it as a new one. Lets see it they finally make a new engine, cause seriously if the next game comes out on the next gen consoles and still looks as bad as it does now...

I don't see why you hate quickscopers. I mean, if you would say most of them are 12 year old idiots, yeah, that's true, but hating them genrally...

I agree that trickshotters are also mostly idiots. I mean, occasionaly going for a 360 or something, that's ok, but being 5 people in S&D that stun the shit out of you and then whine about you not setting up, these people should be banned from all servers.

I personally enjoy quickscoping from time to time, it's very easy to counter because if you can react fast enough, the flinch will cause the quickscoping guy to miss, also ads time is a bit slow, where you can hip fire with every other weapon so you have another advantage in close range

 

 

But yeah, trickshooting sucks, I don't mind shooting randomly when jumping off some high places once, but if someone camps whole match in sd to go for 1v1 and keeps jumping off the building a huge amount of times to finally randomly hit the enemy it's really retarded

Lolwhat? I'd say the series became very popular with cod4. And that game was actually high quality and is still one of the best FPS ever created. Cod 1/2 were also decent, but not as popular as cod4.

 

IMO consololols are the cancer of cod. After cod became popular on those, the games quality decreased on pc.

lol I always prefered to use snipers rather than normal bolt actions because you could pwn in both medium and long range

 

And yes, quickscoping was very popular there too, but most of servers limited the amount of snipers to 1-3 per team

Guess how much fun I had with those tryhards. And they werent regular tryhard, they were those hardcore tryhards quickscoping from the release of MW2. That was so fucking fun. You spawn, you run 50m and you get one-shot-killed. hell yeah.

Yes, I am discussing the PC version, it was a matter of skill to ADS quickly with sniper/bolt action and 1shot a person.

What happened with quickscoping later was: 1. Commentaries from consoles became STUPIDLY popular 2. Quickscoping was A LOT EASIER on console, etc.

No, I dont have a problem with the sniper rifles. I have a problem with fucking idiots thinking its cool to use it in close quarters combat, thus taking my chance for a fair battle.

Also trickshotting is pretty easy, its enjoyable when you troll all those idiots spinning in 1 spot from top roof of any map ( elevator ) then go for teh1337triiik for killcam and everyone is like cheater cheater, reported to admin whatever, i love it

got to love how trickshotting in CoD is easy (with the really big crosshair) and is VERY difficult in Halo (with the really tiny crosshair).

Pretty much luck vs. skill, as you have to be extremely precise in Halo to even get a no-scope with the sniper. And when you finally ARE precise enough to get noscope kills, then you're actually good at the game.

 

But still, doing spins, jumping off buildings, small cliffs and getting kills, is still based on pure luck, it's just WAY more difficult on Halo because of the crosshair being tiny. Oh wait, that could be the reason why that game is STILL great.

I'm quite sure hipfiring SPAS/any SMG,AR,LMG in their face is a bit faster than aiming down the sight and then shooting (unless they are going for close range noscopes lol)
