Does anyone has a server mod 4 me and could upload it where the ump is downpatchend and the ump should kill with 7 shots or something like that with silencer and fmj !

That's the point. The gun is way too overpowered.

5 shots like the rest of the smgs would make it fine.

Just edit the damage in the weapons file. Then put it in m2demo\weapons\mp\ and it should load it just fine on clients. I THINK.

That would make it horribly underpowered.

UMP is a weak weapon. If you can't beat a person who is using it, you're bad.

For that matter, 11 primary, non-sniper-rifle guns in this game (TAR-21/AK-47/SCAR-H/M16A4/FAMAS/FAL/L86/AUG/RPD/UMP45/MP5K) have this damage when Stopping Power is applied to them.

It's not OP- in fact, it gets completely trashed compared to every other gun I listed above due to low ammo and low RoF.

Er... that would make the gun flat out useless.

 

The UMP45's already a sucky SMG, mainly because it shoots so slowly. It's designed to be an SMG-AR hybrid, like the FAD is in IW5.

 

It loses to any SMG up close (MP5K shoots faster and does more damage, and the Vector/Mini-Uzi/P90 all shoot >300 RPM faster with a one-hit penalty)- whip out any of those and you'll dominate any UMP45 user.

 

Could it use a 4SK at range?

Sure, but I propose instead more subtle quirks to the gun much like the AK-74u had in IW3 (95% run speed, slower ADS walk speed, wider hipspread when using a suppressor, and sway comparable to an IW3 AR). It might also take on a damage penalty only when suppressed (40-25, from 40-35 with anything else) to reduce the effectiveness of that particular combination.
