help plz i made account here and i cant log in the game it says incorrect username or password while i can log in the site

After you have made an account you are able to login to the games immediately. Use the forum credentials to login to the games.

Like this:

Username= *your-user-name-here* (that would be Shaloom)

Password= *your-password-here* (whatever your password is...)

 

I don't quite understand how you can't login... Just make sure you type your credentials correctly.

i cant login immediately i only can login the forum and when i go to the game it says wrong username or password

Is there and iw4m.ini in your GAME folder, if there is delete that. Also try to empty your /players folder.

Then try to change your password in the User Control Panel, ucp.php?i=ucp_profile&mode=reg_details

 

Then try again, should work.

game login should work right after you register. so no..you really don't have to wait. Make sure you have IW4M installed and not some other client like alterrev.

Ok so after you click LaunchIW4M.exe... Does it pop up a login box or does it instantly pop up wrong username and/or password?

delete chaches.xml and delets the iw4m.ini and run game

it pop up a login box and i write the id and password which i created on this forum before i try to log in 2 min ago and it says wrong id or pass and i wait like 1 hour so i can login .... is that normal to activate my account here to can login

You actually CAN log into your account immediately after you've created it.

Hmm, a strange problem. What you can do, is go into your MW2 folder, and create a file named "iw4m.ini" (not iw4m.ini.txt, or iw4m.ini.xxx - with xxx representing any other file extension, like .exe, .dat or .dll).

 

Open up this new iw4m.ini file up with Notepad.

On the first line of iw4m.ini, type your username.

On the second line, type your password.

 

So it should look like this:

Shaloom
password

 

After you've done that, save the file and open up IW4M.

i creat text file called iw4m.ini right?
