The game itself isn't crap, but the way you join a game, is just horrible... You can't choose dedicated servers(Alteriwnet FTW), and when you do "find game" you can't even choose the map you want. When you try to find a game, you can't find any games with a ping lower than 300, or rarely... The players on mw2 are scum, many of them hack, I highly doubt if there is ANY cheat protection...

Today it's even worse, you can't join any game, 0/0 players online, just awesome

So I'm waiting for NTA's new creation to come out

You can join but it takes about 5 mins to find a game.After that the players 0/0 fixes.

I know this is off-topic, but my friend that owns Battlefield 3 on PlayStation 3 says that he can play on dedicated servers.

 

I can't see how that would work, since you can't host of Ps3. Or can you?

Nah, BF3 just has a good matchmaking selection. They're not really servers, although they claim it to be.

Oh, were there differences between MW2 and MW3?

Was hard to tell from my end, MW3 felt like playing some sort of MW2 DLC.

All CoD games on Steam gradually go downhill, strangely (I have found this myself, you may have different opinions) MW3 hasn't completely broken yet. Maybe BF3 has frightened Infinity Ward/Activision into actually giving a s**t.

Yes, BF3 and BC2 do have dedicated servers on console's, i have never experienced lagg on the servers just connection error sometimes because EA cant fix their servers. BTW you can make your own server on PS3 bf3 but EA hosts them i think( costs 64$ for 90 days).

Completely right. CoD is one of the very few games using P2P to make a server.

Yea per definition coop is multiplayer, I don't think many people consider it multiplayer though
