Hi guys, Im having this error too:

Couldn't load image 'specialty_new_nonenglish'

 

The Issue is... I had my game in spanish with the localization files as "localized_spanish_iw0X.idw". But as i didnt liked the voices/subtitles, I downloaded the localized_english_iw0X.idw files from here, deleted the old "spanish" ones and pasted the "english" ones on my CODMW2/main folder and the new localization.txt file on my CODMW2 folder, but when I run the game, it crashes and the "Couldn't load image 'speciality_new_nonenglish' pops up! I didnt have this problem when I had my game on Spanish, but i dont want it like that... Do you have any idea of how to fix this?

 

PD: I renamed the "spanish" folder to "english" on CODMW2/zone, as the localization.txt file is set.

Eight, from localized_english_iw00.iwd to localized_english_iw07.iwd, I just checked the console_mp file and found this at the bottom: ERROR: image 'images/specialty_new_nonenglish.iwi' is missing.

 

I oppened the localized_english_iw00.iwd with WinRAR and checked the Images folder, I have two "specialized_new.iwi" files, one named "specialized_new_bg.iwi" and the other without the "_bg", is that ok?

Might as well redownload your iwd's except the localized. If you get an image error that pertains to an iwd.

I already redowloaded the localized_english_iw00.iwd file from here, the thing its, the speciality_new_nonenglish.iwi file is missing , I'll try to get a complete file and will tell u what happened...

I cant find those files but here, all other outside files are corrupted lol.

I think I'll keep the spanish version of the game, lol, works perfect, I just dont like the audio... Maybe I borrow the Full English game from a friend... THANKS anyway!

The game runs at 60 fps on my pc. The pc of my friend is better than mine and the game runs only at 15-20 fps.

Is there any solution for the fps problem?

The only thing about LAN is you have to login to 4D1 first, then use third party software or your internal network.

You mis understood. LAN also uses network resources. The LAN server browser only allows you to see who is on your NETWORK . (NETWORK=INTERNET)

You mis understood. LAN also uses network resources. The LAN server browser only allows you to see who is on your NETWORK . (NETWORK=INTERNET)

 

If your network cannot access the internet, you can still use LAN with other people on your network.

 

Example: Network 1 cannot internet

Guy 1 wants to play with Guy 2 on same network

Guy 1 sets up server

Guy 2 connects through LAN browser / connect localhost

It does not work with the files as they are... it shows the couldn't load speciality_new_nonenglish error, because there is no such file on localized_english_iw00.iwd/image folder...

Look i understand how these errors and the complaints about them are irritating as hell, but I have done everything I can to fix an error and I can't get it fixed. It seems you guys are having the same problems with this error as well.

 

The error is:

 

Fatal error (0xc0000005) at 0x006bdc45.

A minidump has been written to iw4m-3.0-94-20120610044847.dmp.

 

There is no clue except for the hex bit code and I cannot find any way around it.

 

The unofficial replacement dlls are not fixing it either.

 

A re-install has wasted a good half hour of time and configuration of system settings has not worked either.

 

I also reinstalled the VC++ Redist and the DirectX components and still get the same error.

 

If you guys could help me out, I will do my best to help resolve the problem too.

A 05 error is anytging that occurs to any kind of memory in your computer.. So like GPU, actual RAM, etc.

Who said it was inside the localized iwd anyway? That pertains to a normal iwd

 

Because the localized_spanish_iw00.iwd file has it inside, I made some research and the speciality_new_nonenglish.iwi file must be there.

Or which normal iwd file has it?

Being a techie myself, I've already checked the error logs and I'm not getting any memory errors at all.

 

I've tried cleaning the computer out (all temp files and startup programs etc.), made sure that my drives are all booting from the correct channels in the exact order they should be,

 

RAM is in Dual channel mode with the same batch sticks in separate channels so there is definitely not a RAM channel error. Also ran the BIOS memory checking tool and got no errors either...

 

I'm absolutely stumped. If there is anything I could have missed, please throw suggestions at me.

 

BTW should mention that this error is occurring on 2 separate PC's:

One running XP Pro SP3 Retail

The other running Windows 7 Home Premium

 

Both PC's Are completely up to date and BIOS flashed to latest stable versions etc.

 

I maybe looking too far into this, but I can't help but think this maybe a Pagefile problem?

Or just put a note under the video saying the changes? Or ask the video creator to put an annotation.
