Im trying to fix the game crashing with the .dll file but when I go to local under appdata there is no IW4M folder

Dont do what Vextor said. Did you install via the client installer on the main page? Or did you install manually?

Its ONLY %appdata% or %localappdata%

 

Any adding \IW4M etc. will lead to a failure.

Just use RUN and type in %localappdata% then manually look for iw4m if you installed it there.

You can add it in Windows Explorer however.

Well, duh. But that would still require doing the above steps.
