I suggest to clean out your computer. startup list. etc. use a program like ccleaner.

caches.xml is just a file that holds info on which revision you are on. And he meant "seem if". Make sure to try our suggestions.

He meant 'See if' . He hit the M while hitting the space bar.

Nothing worked. It now says iw4m.exe has stopped working.

I've got crash dumps for days, if they help you. There's not really much to say. I thought, at first, this was happening because of modifying iw4m.dll for the clantags, but reinstalling the game completely helped me none.

EDIT: Restarting the game fixes it for a while. But in a random amount of time the game will crash and won't launch again giving me the error.

Hmm.. try removing all mods you have like z_fourdeltaone.iwd not the stuff from your mods folder.

I'd done all of that to no end. But it appears, that the problem has fixed itself. i do not know what that was or how it got fixed, but it's Ok now. Thanks for your help everyone!

EDIT: Right, now noticed the date

 

Yeah, toolbox is right, just remove some files from \main (idk why, but I had no z_ files in main, so i deleted .log files, guess what, WORKED.)

Thats still not right. It happens if you have an .iwd file in your m2demo folder. Period. (Try it and see)
