[Concept] Loading Screen Stats (BF3 Idea)

Опубликовано:

I was playing BF3 the other day on my xbox cause my computer crashed and i didn't have access to the forums for a while and i noticed with the new Rent-a-Server update there is a sort of server loading screen briefing/stats thing:

So i dunno what files the loading screen is, so it's more of whoever wants to do it, i did some concept art, although this can't be done to this exact because of the shape variations and drop shadows and opacity and such, but i reckon someone could get it pretty close :)

So give some feedback :) there might have to be a dedicated server update for the image, and you could maybe add some support and stat fetching when the TNet service comes out.

Any feedback or suggestions?

Ugh... Not really worth the trouble to be honest.

Lol true, but it'd be a cool feature to have on the side, and with the picture inplemented from maybe downloading it from the TNet servers, it'd give your server more "personality" :P even though its just a loading screen

True. But I dunno if that'd even be possible.

Mmm :/ maybe add it into the in-game menu, that'd be easier i think, i'll have a look through the UI menu files

Modify the loading screen.iwi for each map?

Yap, with mod downloading possibility it's easy to achieve :P

That wouldnt load stats for a server, that would just show the same thing everytime, and the fact that you only download the mod at the end of the bar loading, so theres no point in doing that

but I thought that after downloading a mod the game restarts to load a mod and a map again
