Anyways, after *you-know-what* was shut down, I kinda wandered around to play other FPS'es because I didn't know of the existence of 4D1. A post was made on reddit.com/r/gaming about MW2 and someone mentioned 4D1. I came here to check it out, and I like what I'm seeing. Anyways, onto my question...

Are there still people playing this game? If so, how many people (on average)? I don't want to spend $19.99 on a game to find out there are barely any servers with barely any people on them.

Don't need to buy the game.. just download the MW2 PROPER SKIDROW version and apply the 4D1 mod.

Yeah only the 4D1 servers have like at least 300+ players playing atm, I think the average amount of players is somewhere around the 1000+

 

I don't want to spend $19.99 on a game to find out there are barely any servers with barely any people on them.

 

Its free, just download the skidrow as said by "DidUknowiPwn" and download the 4D1 (IW4M) files.
