It's the second best for me if we explain the main game only (no mods) if we say MP

 

For SP I think CoD2 the best.

Modern Warfare 3 would of been a great game if it at least had RANKED DEDICATED SERVERS! If they had that then the game would of still have more people playing. Now if you look at MW3 the population is decreasing just like MW2 because of Match Making and Hackers. I really loved the Single Player because it continue from CoD 4 to MW2 and MW3 the final chapter. The Co-op aka Spec Ops is really bug when it comes to survival on MP because it shows 30 second delay of partner actions so it would of have been bested played LAN. To make MW3 really perfect would to have the same tools as given in COD 4, Ingame Console, Mod Tools, Lean, 250 FPS, FOV, but really MW3 would of have been the game if it had Rank Dedicated servers FOV adjusters, and balancing the weapons in MW3 because the guns balancing is worst in MW3 then it was in MW2 in my opinion.

That the same question I asked when I for the first time started MW3 in Nov 8 and joined a Dedicated Server. Funny thing is the Dev aka IW and SH hide the dedicated servers so you would have to enable them.

The game in itself lacks problems, the killstreaks are truly customizable and weapons are more or less balanced in comparison to other games of the series. It however, sucks. That is because it has nothing whatsoever that makes you want to play it again, the lobby thingy sucks with its extremely low kill limit and poor pings in countries outside the US/Eu zone. It is also the same-beaten-to-shit-game which i have playing since 2007.

 

Coming to the SP, nothing really changed, you still have the predictable "shocks" from the game which you'll probably see coming 5 mins before, the same old behind-enemy-lines shit, except that it is more advanced, so you can now kill an entire fort with just you and a 60year old fuck who makes you wonder how the fuck can he still lift a gun. The story comes to an end, and that's probably the only thing in its favor.

 

Overall, it ain't the worst, i have seen worse, but it sure counts among my lowest 20 of all time.

multiplayer sucked....its nice cause of the new maps....but bad cause of the new maps(no good sniping), hackers(those leader-boards), guns(im not going to start), and matchmaking(laggy and bad hosts).

Doubt that most people like the MW3 maps. People went crazy when the "lastest" "MW3" map was released - Terminal

Hmm the games SP was Good and the MP was not so great. It could have been better. I didn't honestly like the MP part of it ( Steam ). But when NTA comes out with a project it ends up being good all the time. So I think the MP will be better with NTA's version.

There is no doubt about ,it is the best sp player game and mp is also good... i am happy with it...and i also know some mw2 players dont like mw3mp, like i hate mw2...bczz they cant play mw3 like a pro and i cant play mw2 like a pro....lololol [True Story] 8-)

I would like MW3 if the ADS (Aim Down Sight) animations were not so fucking funky and if the SMGs were not so terribly over powered.
