was quite exited to see dedicated servers for mw2 up and running again, kudos to those involved ..

 

playing the last week was fun, however.. the cheaters seem to be multiplying, to the point that its impossible to join a server without 1 or two or more playing... and im not talking the maybe he is , maybe he isnt variety, im talking the blatantly obvious wallhackers and aimbotters..

 

i know server admins are supposed to help here, but maybe its time for a anti cheat update? else it might get to the point where its just not worth playing again? just wondering..

there is anti-cheat but those are players from alterrev

1. The anti-cheat works fine

2. Problem is, its not like the aIW M1 aCI where the player gets kicked

3. The hacker gets banned AFTER he exits out of the game

4. Another aCI update would be nice...

aCi works fine... get a ban for 3-5 days, come back whit stronger hax. well time to do something about aCi sistem.

Go to your server filters and put "Legacy Servers" off.

You'll still see some cheaters, we can't do much against them...

The best solution: Host your own server. If you see a cheater -> Ban him.

Well, then do something about it. You seem to underestimate the amount of time 'doing something about the aCI system' would consume.

well i'm the only one here who don't spam LOLz CHEATERZ ERRYWUR, ACI SUKKKKKK LULZ!!!, on the forums.. i think they NEED an update, since they can find allways a way to hax or cheat.

 

so, i think more time you spend to FIX it, will be more good this client will be.

It will always be impossible to stop them. for now just use vote kick
