Ok,here are some guns I'm working on. This is very alpha and might not work, you may spawn without weapon! It's only ment for testing!

 

The Guns are:

-Dragunov

-M60E4

-Skorpion

-G36C Reflex (thx to Rendflex & LoserSM)

-R700

-Rescue Saw (model found by Slash)

-M249 SAW

 

To use them:

 

M40A3 & Winchester1200: (by NTA, but still a new weapon :))

g_gametype m40a3;devmap oilrig

 

Dragunov & M60E4:

g_gametype drag;devmap oilrig

You need the so_takeover_oilrig.ff for the m249 to work, if you dont have it, giyf!AE0DF88EF9409CC17E52F81F408105174765AE16

 

There is also a way to get the m249 as turret on Karachi. You dont need the so_takeover_oilrig.ff & the dll and this even works on servers! To get this, download this FILE and place it into the m2demo folder. (thx to Slash)

Neither. The server needs to have this .iwd to function online.

If the server has the .iwd then you should see the other players Dragunov.

IW's art... it's really stupid to bind the weapon to the level :3

Its not he weapon files that we have trouble with, Its the models and animations that make up the weapons... if we could make those then we might as well be able to make fully custom maps.

I wasn't talking about creating weapons. I was talking about extracting the ones that already exist, so that we could make them independant from the fastfiles that they're in.

Meaning that any computer would be able to load those weapons, without the requirement of loading all those fastfiles as dependencies.

Notice that I know nearly nothing about modding. I'm just exposing a random thought.

I was planning to add topic about this weapons but since it is also related to your topic then I think it's okay to add this gametypes... just in my opinion.

You can't do that as you would have to load them on all maps, and that would be twice the load on your system as it loads MP and SP fastfiles to get the weapons.

But why is it shooting bullets instead of doing damage to close targets only?

 

+I would like to play with R700 on other maps, how can I play with it?

I know I need to set oilrig as dependency, but idk how to do it.
