To get it to work, you need a class with AK without camo and attachment (otherwise it will use the default AK viewmodel).

This works on every map and on every server (sometimes you'll get no ammo bug)!

Added the COD 4 AK Sound, and again thx to Slash for giving me a very rough tut on how to add it

 

No Ammo bug fixes (thx to TheProphet): Don't run this as mod,put it in the main folder or in m2demo if it still bugs, this should fix it. If it still doesn't work, don't try to connect to servers with a * in front of the name and update to the lates revision! If it STILL doesn't work, I need to create a fix :/

u should port the anims from cod4 like the idle ones etc or eithger the whole gun cos this ak looks GAAYY with the mw2 ak anims.

r u braindamaged? their the same animations just the hands are positioned differently and it wasn't ported it was left in mw2 before aiw even existed.

iw4 anims you can obtain those hands by changing the viewhands in character folder

viewhands_us_army to viewhands_usmc

Only one map not contain it: mp_checkpoint. On other maps should work fine.

Well, there is no actual workaround for that, I guess(well, a little bird has told me that m16_gl_mp or so as a weapon name would work, but who the hell would like to have a m16 using ak47 model)

well, iw4m has some wierd version of ak47. and it is wrong to be called 47. the real 47 is from cod4. but those are outdated, russian forces use ak72m and only modern warfare to have correct one is iw5m (although is again named wrong, but design is accurate).

No point to use that skin for gameplay, maybe for demoback clips
