i saw people sad about the close of alteriwnet but i kept on telling them that fourdeltaone is better they said no, they said alterIWNet had a bigger community,best anti cheat, etc...

so i decided to make this topic to see what you guys like the most between alterIWNet and FourDeltaOne.

Well, alterIW didn't have this rubber-band (lag) that a lot of people experience. Though I get it at random on some dedis it can be annoying. In all other areas 4D1's current status dominates. I've always been FOR the future that 4D1 represents rather than against it. :3

Needs time till 4D1 gets the fame as alterIW, by the time alterIWnet was suspended there were not many cheaters on every server, so this is just like the beginning of alterIWnet, many cheaters, many problems, it's the very start up of the project. Time will show if this community worth a while...

As everyone else has already said, they're effectively the same -matchmaking.

The only negative thing on fourdeltaone is legacy support, because a lot of people still use old alteriwnet client and refuse to update, there is no way to ban those people if they cheat. People still don't get it and blame us for not having an anticheat.

4D1 has more features than aIW

No, we should blame you for having Project Synthesis.

 

No. Synthesis is good project, it is people who are stupid and refuse to update their game and servers.

 

Nope. It WAS a good idea, now it's just rubish. AFAIK; aRev currenty has about 300 players. But their master server tracks players who use 4D1 too.

 

So, there's no point in project Synthesis any more. People have moved on. And either way, it just brings cheating dumbfucks to OUR servers.

 

Many people have agreed with me on this one. NTA should really reconsider the whole thing. Shut it down.

 

*EDIT*: You should also consider that 4D1 is growing quite rapidly, with the help of me and a lot of other members, we've managed to get the word out on Machinima, rechyyy's channel, our own channels etc.

 

Look at how many users are registered. Granted, not all of them play, but the statistics don't lie, in that manor.

 

And you should consider that people may quit playing on 4D1 (And aRev too) simply cause of the fact that the cheating problem is getting a bit out of hand.

Do you guys not know how to admin your own servers and ban cheaters? This doesnt seem to be an issue on our server.

Im with 4D1 but NTA's idea on making 4D1 only on m2 is AWESOME!, in aIW it was m1.

BTW I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT SUGGESTION TO SAY, if we released 4D1 IW5M now, i think 4D1 will shut down like aIW BECAUSE aIW released MW3 early.. and im just saying we have to wait till BLACK OPS HORSE WARFARE 2 is in stores so MW3 gets old, and Activision doesnt care about it. Good idea?
