I have researched a few websites looking for some better FPS so I took their optimization into my config I went from having about 40-90 FPS to 70-200 FPS on Skidrow *both were done on Skidrow*. If anyone wants my edited config here's my edited config..only a few optimization I used reduced the visual effects of MW2 but it's not alot..

CHANGE YOUR DISPLAY RATIO AFTER REPLACING YOUR config_m2!!! I set the resolution to 640x480 since I don't know if people will have the same resolution display as me which was at 1360x768.. So change your display ratio after to accordingly to what you would want!

If you don't know how to replace your config_m2 go to your MW3 folder->players->config_m2.cfg *you can either delete the current one that's included or just copy and replace!*

I dont like eye candy on mp games but i`m using laptop (almost 2 years old asus g73) with amd gpu and i set com_maxfps 125 on 1920x1080 cuz i get like 170fps

Meh, the commands that really affects the fps is in the menu anyway, sure you might get a bit more fps if you use some of these commands but they are not what is going to make you able to play. Also if your pc can't run mw2 you might as well drop pc gaming, a macbook can run this game and macs use an integrated graphics card (also why not just list the commands that you added instead of the config file? That way people can keep their keybinds, and sensitivity.)

You probably have like a 68XX I have 6770M that runs BF3 at 1024x768 High no AA or AF.. but ya my laptop is only i7 TB to 2.9 GHZ, 6770M, 8GB RAM from G-Skill. I run MW2 at 1336x768 no AA or AF but Normal graphics with these edits I get a lot better FPS.. it just depends on the user's set up.

I don't want 200 FPS I just want to have a normal 60 FPS game that doesn't drop below 60 FPS b/c then everything is all glitchy and shiz which then makes my audio all static and shit which pisses me off :evil:

The server you were playing on has a mod, which let's you enable the low graphics option.

Yes, some of the things I removed were blocked now. And since this doesn't help at all anymore I'm locking this.
