Hello fellow players!

 

As you might - or might not - know, IW5M is close to release and since it is as awesome as it is it provides built-in, 'out-of-the-box' mod support.

So here I am, asking you, for suggestions on what the first official mod for IW5M should be (which will be shipped with it on release).

I have taken the liberty to add a few choices myself but feel free to make suggestions and I'll make sure to add them to the list.

 

If you have any awesome mod ideas make sure to post them below. The new mod system gives us many more possibilities than before so let your imagination go wild! (not TOO wild though )

 

I should also note that the source code for the mod will become available after its release.

After we've gathered enough suggestions a new topic will be created with descriptions for every respective mod as well as a poll.

Maybe a mod that adds an option that lowers the texture,normal map,spec map. even more? so that we could get more fps to the people who has lowest-end graphics card...(like me)

Always respawn in teh base mod?

How about a mod where in infected when there are no zombies (they rage quit) the server automatically picks a new infected. just throwing it out there

How bout a forge mod?

Like in mw2 and you could create bunkers and such.

 

Also how bout an admin menu for servers like... Changing map, spawning stuff, etc.

Not possible as of yet, you need to be able to get the .d3dbsp.ents, as far as I know there is still no way to do it without a working .FFViewer.

xbox kids call a mod where you can temporarily move objects models (car, barrel, etc.) a 'forge mod'.

 

Not sure if the scripting API can get the return value of a gsc function call.

Most of those are already made from "plugins". I would say a Zombie mod like QCZM
