Do you by any chance have a D-Link DIR-632?

Have you tried updating your router's firmware? You can find the latest one on the D-Link support page. Select DIR from the first box and then 615 from the one next to it and press Go. Click on the Downloads folder and then click Downloads for DIR-615. Make sure to download the firmware from the right revision because there are multiple revisions of the DIR-615. Refer to the little "how to check" button if you are unsure. Click on the Firmware button and download the latest firmware which is normally at the top.

On most DIR-XXX routers, to update the firmware, you download the .bin file from D-Link's website and then log into your router (normally it's http://192.168.0.1/). Click on Maintenance > Firmware Upgrade. Click Browse and browse to the .bin file you downloaded earlier. Click Apply and wait ~300 seconds for everything to work.

After that, try starting the game again and see what happens. Also, what OS are you currently running?

i wnt on there site but there is no downloads for this router http://www.dlink.com/us/en/home-solutio ... 300-router i looked into it more and there are no updates for firmware can you send me alink if you find one also i use windows 7 64 bit

It is router firmware, and as such operating system/system type do not matter.

I have experienced the same problem. I'm currently using a DIR-615 one. Though, the problem goes away if I plug my computer to the modem directly.

I've been doing router system changes and testing it for almost an hour now or so.

I have a DNS server adress of 192.168.0.1, does that mean I have a D-link fouter as well? :? (I'm a tenant, so I can't think of another way to find out my router model)

Alright, seems like the US site has a different layout to the Australian/NZ one. Select the correct Revision from the box (click Find My Revision if you are unsure). After that, click Select. Choose the latest firmware, it's the LAST one under Firmware NOT Emulators (check the date to make sure).

Make sure to read this warning too: Do NOT upgrade firmware on any D-Link product over a wireless connection. Failure of the device may result. Use only hard-wired network connections.

After that, follow my steps again in the last paragraph.

It is router firmware, and as such operating system/system type do not matter.

Windows XP SP3 has been known to cause some routers to crash because of UPnP however a firmware upgrade would normally address this. But since I think it only applied to Billion routers, it probably doesn't matter like you said.

Thanks so much man it worked i updated and it works now thanks alot man
