When I start IW5M and click on servers, none appear. Also, as soon as I do that I disconnect from my wireless network for about a minute before it reconnects. I have no idea how a program can disconnect me from my network, but it would be great if someone could help.

Try using a DSL wire instead of wireless.

I have the same problem...

Using wired connection isn't an option, considering how far away my router is from my pc.

same issue, i move my computer from my house too my friends and there i use a wired connection, it works just fine but i would enjoy too play iw5m from my house...

The problem is with the wireless connection dropping, not with the game. This is generally due to fluctuation and is a common error in many applications. The problem might be anywhere, so you can try contracting your ISP or changing your router.

unfortunately, the problem is with the modification. i've MW3 Steam, and it works very well. Also i've the FourDeltaOneMW2 modification, and it works ok either, as many others online games that i have.

 

yes, maybe the router don't 'recognize' this application or something else, but assuming that the others games works ok, i find it difficult to believe.

i have same problem..when i play mw3 after about 5-30 minutes later [variable every time] everyone freezes except me then error comes "server connection timed out". when i look at my connection icon on lower right corner my internet connection shows no network access [with icon of yellow triangle and "!" mark]...down its not in just this pc...every pc. and even wireless....i can connect to wireless but cant access any page!!!!

 

and after a while comes back on by it self.

 

first few times i thought my internet service provider must be changing something or maintenance day or some sh*t. but this happened every time i played iw5m. so then i put it together its the game......rest all works fine i play iw4m regularly without problem since like forever!

 

i am connected through dsl router with wire [not on wireless], my router and modem are fine worked and works flawlessly in every instance except for last 2 days since i am playing iw5m.

 

i also forwarded port, tried disabling antivirus,,,but nothing helps.

Surely a faulty router then,

Update your router firmware or if your router supports Linux firmware upgrade to a Linux based firmware like DD-WRT
