I wan to run my server without the mini map, unless the team(s) have a UAV. I've set - set ui_hud_hardcore "0" // Heads up display - but still have a minimap. Anyway to do this without hardcore settings, or should I set it to HC and set everything else to normal? Any help is appreciated!

Hey, any mod which uses custom weapons file, will crash sooner or later. The weapons files are causing this error ERROR: Exceeded MAX_SURFACE_TYPE_SOUND_LISTS (16) after a certain amount of map changes. The lower the roundlimit was, the sooner the error appeared. If i set the roundlimit very low (2 rounds), the server crashes after about 2 hours. I have tested it with ~40 weapon files and with just one (frag_grenade_mp) and i got the same result. my custom classes say that there is a camo selected but when i go ingame, there is no camo on any of my guns any help?

Why do you even keep overpowered guns in the game? They're ruining EVERY match. Ruining motherfuckin game. Everyone responsible for anything related to making this game multiplayer partition will be confirmed mentally ill if in next update those weapons aren't removed.

Every time I open IW4M icon, there occurs a window named "Authentication for IW4M", so I must write my acc and password. Isn't there any way to remove that authentication?

hello everyone who wants to help. I have a problem, when i make kills in the game and unlock new accesories to weapons. the kills are registered when playing. but when I try to quit the game and start up again, these accesories and kills I made are gone.. example: start up, playing with ump and making some kills : ump > unlocked rapid fire.. I quit the game and close the console and start up again: ump> lost rapid fire & killcount. I'm very thankfull to the kind men who helps me (Y)

Cause right now i am stuck using a 5mbps down, 0.50mbps upload,and in any server 8 players i start getting lag deaths,and cod4 and WAW with full servers are unplayable. Well i am moving and going to get the best internet the small town has to offer(it is 12mbps down 1.5mbps up),and i want to compare it to what you guys say,so i can see if i am still going to have lag problems. Keep in mind it is not fps lag cause i am running a 7970,and it is not ping lag cause i always pick servers with under 100 ping,and most of the time i end up having 40-60 ping,yet i still get lag deaths. I'm really glad to see Modern Warfare 2 back online, but there are a few aspects I would like to address, such as the growing numbers of cheaters and the lack of admins on servers, and admins that tollerate cheaters, namely wallhackers and aimboters. As a user, I'm asking you to take in consideration this request, and add some sort of cheatlog that will ban cheaters automatically. Just like the old alterIW had, which was very efficient though. The new servers have become a playground for cheaters. Please do something about this matter.

Well, I just downloaded the game today together with the Steam. Then when I turned on the game, I can't play online for some reason. It was like "Party of (name here)" then when I clicked "Find Server", nothing comes out. Any solutions?
