hi, thanks for continuing NTAuhority, i'm grateful for that. you are the coolest hacker in the world. i have a problem with IW4M though, after 5 seconds the mouse cursor freezes in the main menu. that means i can't even start a game nor change settings or exit the game properly. i don't what could cause that. i already tried to verify the cached game files through steam but it didn't help. i own mw2 on steam since release day and have bought the two dlc's. thanks for your help in advance.

It seems running iw4m.exe in Windows XP compatibility mode will occasional fix a persistent 'fetching playlists' issue. At least for some people. I have no clue why it would make a difference. Discuss results.
