I can import it into a database without problem. I was just looking for an accurate list (ie. 4D1/IW4M.EXE w/iw4m.dll). dvardump and dvarlist will print the list, but was looking for a console command to extract them in a text file. Much like you can use a command.exe prompt like "dir >> directory.txt" will store the printed list into a file called directory.txt. I was looking for some command similar to that from the console to get the dvars into a text file. I can then import it from there without problems. Thanks, Kelso

I started putting the DVARs in a database (just for sh!ts and giggles). Wanted to know how to extract all of the dvars from MW2. I tried dvarlist >> mw2dvarlist.txt also tried just dvarlist. I don't want to copy and paste form the console log. Is there a way to write them to a file so they can be imported into a DB? Thanks, Kelso

Ehhhh. When it was posted on aIW's site where to download the game from torrent sites, it was a workaround to get the game for free. Then the reverse engineering made it possible, not only for MW2 but the next 2 releases also, to create dedi's / mods / online gameplay yet the creator of the game did not benefit. If you supported 4D1, you wouldn't have placed a link to a workaround for the Legit Authorization. Because I called you out for putting a link to a workaround in your signature means I'm a lick-ass? Are you reading what you are typing or just forget to take your ADHD meds? Mods are for games that are purchased, not hacked. Hence the Steam Authorization. If there is a workaround to use 4D1's IW4M.exe and bypass the Steam Authorization, that doesn't make 4D1, NTA, or other programmers who have dedicated so much time to this project look like "MODDERS." It makes them look like aIW all over again. We are getting away from that. So, take the damn link out of your signature. Otherwise, you are nothing more than a cheap software bitch who still doesn't want to pay for a game that is being MODDED. Nice comeback. "I know you are, but what am I?" So, if you think the "Soviets" can do it and get away with it, then Activision will probably go after them IN ADDITION TO 4D1. WTF are you thinking?

Didn't try it. I used to look for programs that would keep my server running back in the aIW days. Ended up finding this batch file. I don't think 4D1 is about patching MW2 if it is not purchased legit. This is why I fully $upport 4D1 because of the purchase requirement of MW2. I just wish Activision would see how they are benefiting from it. Sites like yours are probably why Activision will never let this project continue. *sigh*
