Quarantine Chaos Zombie Mod v0.4

This is a mod that is supposed to be as close as the original QCZM as possible for IW5. The mod incorperates a new MapEdit Class that I will be releasing as soon as it is done. The Mod is based off of TDM instead of the Infected gametype because I think it kind of sucks and is round based which is annoying for mod writing. This mod was written entirely by myself and DidUknowiPwn. The mod includes 15 mapedits with more on the way. Hopefully we can get it to the same status it was on IW4.

All bug reports/feature requests should be posted here.

 

When posting a bug report, simply saying "X doesn't work" will be ignored. You must give an accurate detail on where it occurred and when it occurred.

Example: Normal playing time, server crashes and says something about health configstring error.

Feature requests should be written in plain English and please spend at least 5 minutes to make sure it isn't already in the mod.

Example: Please consider adding Tactical Insertions to shop.

 

Gameplay video should be up as soon as I get some (or never...)

Another string exhaust? Great... also might as well disable that (for now) as that function is still not working properly

We might have fixed it, still need to look into why reticle changing is not working.

There are almost no errors.... It is still in development as well. If you want the most up to date things checkout from the svn and build it yourself.

this plugin have too bugs...

a important bug is:

when load this script in server ;server shutdown usually .... it's not good...

please fix this bug :ugeek: ;)

This would fall under the category of a useless bug report. I need more information to debug this. What error messages? Any other plugins? How often is "usually"? Server cfg? Curent dsr? What revision of the mod + IW5M?

Answer those and if you don't feel comfortable posting all those here then just PM to me or there is no way I can reproduce or fix this bug.

We have many other projects going on, for me it's QCZM (IW4M), Night Mod, some IW4M stuff, WAW Radiant, C++ learning, school, and sports. I can say the same thing for Apadayo but he has a longer list.

We have many other projects going on, for me it's QCZM (IW4M), Night Mod, some IW4M stuff, WAW Radiant, C++ learning, school, and sports. I can say the same thing for Apadayo but he has a longer list.

School, sports, my game, zonextract, figuring out what NTA did with iw4c models, and other random iw5 tweaks. Plus I feel that this mod is in pretty good shape besides the max of 8 people bug which I doubt I can fix easily without someone else's help who is more knowledgeable.

I have been through some map edits, and placing some ramps, and removing some old flags witch has been there, and made some new interesting routes and things like that.

Until now, i get a good feedback for your mod, people appearing to like it more and more.

 

But i face a simple problem.

The lack of giving them something like Tactical insertion, buy-able new items(they demanded snipers), and things like that.

 

So what i am asking you guys that can i have the permission to edit the mod so that it gives them what i desire?

Hmmm I'll try and update this give me a few hours.

 

Edit: So I got the sniper working but not the tactical insertions. Still don't know why yet... also in this version there's a sort of bug that causes an unlimited suicide. Like if "Zombies" is full (9 players) then the mod will keep him suiciding inside Humans.

Also i noticed a bug, it happens randomly, when the match time was consumed, (say i put 15 minutes for the match) when it reaches to somewhere to 3:00 - 7:00 minutes, on a round, a human won't change his team from axis, witch allows his teammates to kill him over and over again.

 

And yes, i have the very same problem as the other guys have the over-flow command glitch, i have that when the count-down of the match is finished, and it won't load the next map on the map rotation list.

 

That's all i can come up with glitches i noticed and have seen, i will inform you if i had more in the future.

Yeah we can't do anything about that... it's not our fault it's the GSC for _teams.gsc fault. There's some checks in there that we can't modify/bypass.
