They probably won't, IW5M is a mod not a crack and the people just want it for free.

well, the mufffin helps us.

but people are too stupid to figure it out.

I bet about 2% of all people that was told about it actually figured it out.

not as if there's anything to hint people towards mufff.in as googling "mufffin" doesn't lead there whatsoever. only IRC is somewhat helpful

Question, if 4D1 is so huge, can we terminate compatibility with "x"?

In my experience, and from what I've read in the forums, "x" is just a constant source of cheaters to 4D1 servers.

Yes, I know servers can individually keep them away, but many don't know/ don't bother doing it... :?

Yes, it would be best for the game itself. But think of the massive DDoS/Flame war that would start the second x is not "supported" by nta. At least, that's my theory.

They have their own M2 project based off 4D1 code anyway.

if I'm right aIW had like 1 million users in the past :|

But I prefer it this way, the protection is a kind of noob filter, when NTA started pT5 on raflint, his T5 mod was supposed to work this way at release, but well he came back to aIW and the main problem at aIW was that the management was not made by NTA himself and the guys who were caring of this did not gave a single fuck about how legitimate was the aIW project, ending up in the bloodshit we know.

Furthermore this noob filter also acts like a hacker filter, we know hackers are mainly noobs who have been banned on legit version, don't want to be banned on their legit version or are frustrated kids who just want to make people rage...

So yeah I think NTAuthority's decisions with the 4D1 project is way better for the community and also for him to stay the most legit as he can.

I think project Synthesis should stop.

All the hackers from alterRev, it ruins the working of aCI..

This. What's the point of aCI, if any "x" player can jump in just like that.

What's the approach of boss NTA on this?
