i start iw5m then it just went blank(black screen). Then i opened the Task Manager and saw an error message said common_mp. please help me to resolve this matter. And why i dont have a file name iw5m.exe in my Modern Warfare 3 folder? only have iw5mp.exe.

common_mp.ff does NOT come with IW5M updater.

To get that file, you need to either run a Steam check on your game installation, or to reinstall the game.

You're not supposed to have any exe, other than LaunchIW5M.exe

After you install/verify the game cache, all you have to to is run LaunchIW5M.exe

You don't need to buy the game to download it from steam, Create a SteM add. Go to "Tools" MW 3 Dedi and download it.
