So I just bought a sort of 'gaming laptop' and I just get horrible FPS, even at low quality. Is there maybe something to boost FPS at disabeling windows things or something like that?

 

My laptop is an Toshiba Satellite L650-1CN and the specs are:

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5145

i5 M450 @ 2.40GHz

320GB HDD

1366x768 Screen Resolution

Probably iw5m launches using integrated gpu. Try checking control panel and change your ati settings for iw5m.dat

Right click on desktop -not any file or folder- and select Change Graphic Driver or something it should use Catalyst Control Center to change it.

seriously, don't expect games to be playable at all with this GPU. If it doesn't get enough FPS even on lowest settings then there's nothing you can do about it.

make default settings to run your iw5 with your graphic processor by clicking

right click on the icon and then run with graphic processor then choose which is your best one 8-)

when you play fast check what is consuming CPU

etc once i got problem

when i play

50% for the game and 50% for the windows defender ...

Tried it right now, the game lags even more to me. :l

try re-installing your drivers. there are probably new ones on the site.

I get the same issue :/ I have an i7 at 3.3ghz ati radeon, runs MC at far 90+fps, cod4 maxed out 100fps Crysis 2 70+fps and then 4d1 for mw2 and Mw3 i get like 20fps everything on lowest settings :/

doesn't help boost fps in anyways (atleast for me) i used fraps and tested it on dome with my gold mp-7 and the frame rate was the same.
