I'd like to ask you guys, if you are missing an old NTA project ( aIW ) ?

 

Well, since aIW has been closed a lot of players left the MW2 community, for now 4D1 is just a small place

with small amount of players, about 90 % of community are players that, i think never played MW2 before, still lots of hackers, really bad lobbies, i meant all the WZ, Game-Zone, all iSnipe servers are terrible, everytime i join one of those i get banned/voted because of wh or aimbot, that's a bit annoying that 4D1 community is full of people without any experience in MW2. Now almost 3/4 of the servers are like 200.000 XP per kill, AI zombies, trickshot only... It seems like 4D1 community its going down or arleady dead... What do you think guys?

I do indeed miss the aIW times, but not for the game itself, but the forums and the community. It was also a great information source, and a good place to debate about various topics. It's kinda as if Activision took an old friend to the grave.

I do miss the old aIW. It was.....fun really, aside from the idiots that kept begging for aMW3. Other than, we had some kind of bond.

Last time I checked, WZ wasn't a legacy server, nor does it allow legacy players to join.

 

 

Also post a ban appeal if you got "unfairly" banned.

I do miss it in the sense that it had great people, and the community wasn't divided. But do I want it back? No.

I only started using the forums when 4D1 was created, but I wish I would have been more active on aIW. I used to be one of those who only came for the game, but now I mostly stay for the community.

 

Sure, there are a bunch of idiots. However, that doesn't exactly spoil the entire community.

 

I would feel indifferent if the game was updated to not allow Legacy servers or if more people hosted regular servers. At this point the game just doesn't appeal to me as it did in 2010-Early 2012. The people I see ingame if/when I do play IW4M or IW5M I don't really consider the "community";

I miss the Anti-Cheat. That's about it. I suppose I will just have to continue whooping up on the hackers in the servers for the time being. Everything else is exactly as it was before.

Disable "Legacy Servers" in the filters (If you're talking about IW4M). That will stop SOME hackers.
